Des Crump from the State Library of Queensland told Professor Roly Sussex that the majority of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages are either extinct or endangered.
Of the 150 Indigenous languages still in use in Australia, all but 20 are endangered. Professor Roly Sussex talks to Des Crump from the State Library of Queensland about preserving Indigenous languages.
